В день памяти жертв Холокоста, 27 ниссана (в этом году - 8 апреля), в 10 часов по всему Израилю раздаются сирена, гудки. Все останавливаются. Кто где, кто как. На работе, дома, на улице. Пять минут молчания.

Мы как раз ехали в Иерусалим. Пытался успеть к 10-ти в город, но сирена застала нас по пути. Я все боялся пропустить ее - в машине и за городом не очень слышно. Слава богу, заметили останавливающиеся машины, тоже встали.
